The Hospitality volunteer assignments include the following:
- Information Desk Concierge
- Greeter/Directional Guide
Listed below are the specific job descriptions for each assignment. Please note: some job functions will also have temporary staff assigned.
1. Information Desk Concierge
- Primary responsibility is to welcome attendees and to help answer their questions about both SmileCon and Houston, TX.
- CLA volunteers may also have a temporary staff member and/or a member of the Visitors Bureau working alongside them to help answer questions
2. Greeter/ Directional Guide
- As a Greeter/Directional, volunteers will be asked for information regarding courses, events, directions, food service and other topics.
- Volunteers must be familiar with the Convention Center and the surrounding area and comfortable standing in one location for a few hours.
- There are many locations for this assignment throughout Convention Center and the Hospitality Co-Chairs will direct volunteers to their assignments.
2. Hospitality Volunteer benefits:
- Complimentary Dental Central Pass which credit may be applied towards upgrading to a Smile Pass or Platinum Smile Pass
- Complimentary meal voucher to be redeemed on the day of the assignment
- Complimentary parking on the day of the assignment
